an executive director. A program specifically for Hispanic
victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, L.U.N.A. seeks a person
bilingual in Spanish and English with experience in non-profit program
management. Among the executive director’s responsibilities are
supervision of employees, grant acquisition and budgeting, long-range
planning and working with a board of directors from the community.

- Oral History Interviewer, Iowa Women’s
Archives
The Iowa Women’s Archives in the University of
Iowa Libraries seeks a
bilingual individual fluent in Spanish and English to conduct oral
history
interviews with Iowa Latinas for a project to preserve Latina history.
This
part-time position requires excellent verbal and written communication
skills and the ability to interact with a broad cross-section of
individuals
and organizations. Experience conducting oral history interviews and a
knowledge of United States and Iowa history are desirable. Must be
willing
to travel within the state. This is a temporary position, 20-30 hours
per
week, for 6-12 months. May involve evening and weekend hours.
$17.00/hour.

February/early March and will last until late May. Working hours are 8:30-5,
